Pick this class if you value a balance of flexibility and ease of play. You don't get any bonuses to any spell school, but that also means you can cast whatever you want. The Vanilla wizard will give you the most flexibility to play around with ALL the different spells you can find, while also requiring the least amount of planning and forethought. Just to expand on what others have said: I'd go Evoker or Vanilla Wizard for simplicity, but Blood Mage if you're really interested in doing the same thing every fight and don't mind some planning and meta gaming.
